NOTES OF GLORY BROADCAST KKCQ Fosston 96.7 FM at 8:30 Sunday morning & KROX Crookston 1260 AM at 9:12 Sunday Morning
The year was 1972 and the Gloryland Gospel Team had been in the ministry for
three years. A friend called us to his home and said he had something to show
us. When we arrived, he took us upstairs where a small tape recorder sat. With
excitement he told us of how he had begun a radio ministry and thought we should
do the same. After a time of prayer and the seeking of advice, we enquired at
local radio station, KEHG in Fosston MN. While on tour to Illinois, we purchased
a reel to reel tape recorder. On March 13, 1973, KEHG aired the first Notes of
Glory Broadcast. The next step in the history of the Notes of Glory Broadcast was to purchase time on KROX in Crookston MN. Since that time, we have continued on both stations to this day although KEHG is now KKCQ. As times change, so does technology. Now our broadcasts are recorded digitally and are emailed to the stations. For all these years, our broadcast has been limited to the area reached by these two stations. Now through modern technology via the internet, the Notes of Glory Broadcast can be heard around the world. This fulfills the scripture that when the Gospel shall be preached to all lands, the end shall come. Jesus could come any day. Through the Notes of Glory Broadcast, many have come to know Christ as Savior and are now with Him in Heaven. It was reported to us that one man knelt by a hay bale in his barn at the close of the broadcast and gave his life to Christ. Soon after that day, he entered eternity. |
